After serving over 15 years as a deacon and minister in his local church, Calvin Copeland was ordained as Pastor in 2007. Shortly after his ordination, Pastor Calvin was asked to establish a small group for the purpose to plant a church whereby PreEminent Worship Center or PWC 6:33 was born. After the endorsements of those that he served, PreEminent Worship Center hosted its first public service on August 30, 2009.
Saving the lost, helping individuals to grow, and strengthening families so all become servants of the body of Christ is what we are about at PWC 6:33. Our corporate vision is to build a church that serves all in the community Monday through Sunday ministering to the mind, body, and soul. We envision a facility equipped to meet the needs of our community.
About Our Leaders
Calvin Copland

Calvin Copeland grew up in the church environment, developing a servant’s heart. As a teenager, he served in the choir and the praise team. Later, upon acknowledging his call to the ministry, he began to serve as a children’s and Sunday school teacher. As an alumnus of the African American Leadership Institute for the Alamo Chamber of Commerce, Calvin now serves on the advisory board. He was also appointed to the South Texas business fund board for district 2. A certified facilitator, Calvin leads a citywide youth conference for Project Better Future. With training in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), Calvin serves as a chaplain in hospice as well as hospital settings. After 15 years serving in the diaconate, Calvin was ordained to Elder in June 2007. He began his pastorate by holding his first public service in August 2009.

He truly believes that the life we lead is not about us.
An example of God’s love
Childhood sweethearts, Calvin and Aliss met in church where they shared the same baptism day. They began dating in 1982, the summer before senior year in high school. While singing in the church choir together, they both were on a quest to figure out how to make God first in their lives as youth. They later married in 1989 and have enjoyed over 30 years of marriage; Calvin proclaims, he is still on his honeymoon. Aliss and Calvin continue to work at keeping God first and making each other their number one priority. In 1995 they received their blessing from the Lord, and have been honored to be a part of the growth and development of their daughter Alexis. Seeing her become the woman of God she is today fills their hearts with pure joy. “As I thank God every day, I’m reminded that love can last forever …after!” ~ Pastor Calvin.
